He shared his experiences in an episode of the series Johnny's Communication Center which was uploaded on NCT Daily, the group's official YouTube channel for vlogs and other miscellaneous content.

Johnny got to witness how CDs are burned and replicated, how the covers are printed and how the CDs are packaged and wrapped.

He even got to try going on the assembly line to add sticker sets, booklets and photo cards to complete the album. He also got to box some albums for shipping.

"Someone's gonna get an album where I made it. I made this up," he says while adding items to complete the inclusions of Neo Zone, the new album of NCT 127.

Neo Zone is set to be released on March 6, 2020 and is the second studio album of NCT 127, one of the subunits of NCT.

"We make the music. We write the lyrics and then we start making the performance. We record everything. That process itself is a wonderful experience as well, but to be part of the middle process of making the album is actually in a way kind of touching," Johnny says of his experience in the factory.

K-pop albums are known to be elaborate. Aside from a physical CD, a typical K-pop album would often include a photo book, posters, random photo cards, and other miscellaneous items.
